Montreal, Quebec, 1 October 2008 (CBNS) — On the weekend of September 19-21, a diverse group of young adults gathered at the Montreal Bahá’í Centre and the House of Friendship – a community centre that is owned by the Mennonites and that has several local groups working out of it – for a “skills-share” conference aimed at contributing to the transformation of their physical, emotional and spiritual environment.

Rather than organize a conventional Bahá’í youth conference, Nika Khanjani responded to a request by the Local Spiritual Assembly of Montreal by approaching the conference as an opportunity to take advantage of the Bahá’í community’s potential to serve as a facilitator of diverse people and organizations who share conceptual concerns

The essence of all that We have revealed for thee is Justice, is for man to free himself from idle fancy and imitation, discern with the eye of oneness His glorious handiwork, and look into all things with a searching eye.
