About Bahaiki

Bahaiki is the prefix and primary domain (Bahaiki.org) to a series of projects that share the mission of using collaborative effort to improve access to information about the Bahá'í Faith.

The word Bahaiki is partly from the word Wikipedia. The first project that began just over a year ago was an encyclopedia modeled after Wikipedia containing only information related to the Bahá'í Faith. Replacing the "Wi" in Wikipedia with "Bahai" was the unimaginative birth to Bahaikipedia.

As time went on it became more apparent that following in Wikipedia's footsteps seemed like an excellent idea, and to maintain a unique identity across all future projects the term 'Bahaiki' was adopted. Now we have 3 projects under this name, Bahaikipedia, BahaikiText and this one, BahaikiNews.

Ask not of Me that which We desire not for thee, then be content with what We have ordained for thy sake, for this is that which profiteth thee, if therewith thou dost content thyself.
